Hand wash your stockings in lukewarm water and use a mild detergent. Remember to take care if you are wearing jewellery or you have long nails -  you don't want to snag them! If you don't have time or simply don't feel like hand washing them and are adamant in putting them through the washing machine then use a cool wash and put them into a pillowcase to ensure they don't snag or get tangled up.

Rinse them well and then leave to drip dry. Direct sunshine or too high a drying heat will shorten the life of your stockings. If you're in a rush and need them to dry in a hurry try squashing them flat between two dry towels. Tip - sit on the two towels while you are drying your hair that way you will save time!
